The Arrival of a Pisces Princess

A good vibes session

Together Ashley and I discussed her last minute photo session. She was due for a baby girl just a couple weeks away and time was pressing on. Below is the brainstorming behind the results and the thought processes that brought us to the MAGIC!

About the CoupleI've known this girl right here since middle school, and she is just as free spirited, fun and free flowing as when we met. Upon meeting her partner, Jeremiah, the energy was tangible. The electric vibes were bouncing back and forth and I was so excited to get it all on camera!

The Space The studio was actually a Yoga studio, Upstairs Yoga! We chose this space because of the atmosphere it set for the session. The energy in this space was conducive to the spirit of welcoming a new baby girl. We brought incense, a diffuser, and played the calming frequencies that soothe the sacral chakra which nurtures the reproductive system.

The natural light was exactly what we wanted for the final feel of this session, and it worked out beautifully.

The WardrobeThe outfits we picked were flowy, soft, and pastels. Pisces represent emotional, delicate and free flowing. It was important to showcase that vibe in the session. It was funny because I sent Ashley a list of outfits I found, and she already had the tan outfit. Goes to show she was riding the same wavelength, and we were so in sync to what we wanted to create together! The wardrobe really facilitated the flow of energy to make it all come alive.

The Energy

Honestly I didn't have to do much. One thing I love about maternity sessions is that the love is there. The love is so apparent when two parents are welcoming a child they made together, into the world. It was organic and effortless.

Pisces are very connected to nature, and the plants understood the assignment. This was a big selling point about the space. Plants bring such healing energy and it was important to bask in this energy.
